Do you know how to say “I love you” in Cantonese? In this lesson, you'll learn three different ways to say "I love you" and a special phrase for Valentine's Day.
Let’s start with the most common phrase.
我愛你。

“I love you.”
If you want to be less direct, you can use this phrase.
你喺我心目中好重要。
[slowly] 你喺我心目中好重要。
It means “You mean so much to me.”
Now if you want to be more romantic in expressing your love for someone, you can say this phrase.
冇辦法用言語嚟形容我對你嘅愛。
[slowly] 冇辦法用言語嚟形容我對你嘅愛。
It means "Words can't describe my love for you."
