That's right, you can also say

keoi5 wui5 giu3 maat1 je5 ne1? as in "What would she order?" It's a more colloquial way to say

keoi5 wui5 dim2/giu3 bin1 joeng6 je5 sik6 ne1? "Which kind of food would she order?" :thumbsup:

Hi, I'm getting feedback from my Cantonese teachers that this line:


keoi5 wui5 dim2 bin1 joeng6 je5 sik6 ne1?

has a distinctively Mandarin flavour, and although lexically isn't inaccurate, it isn't authentic to how a Cantonese person would phrase it. Perhaps the following would be better:


keoi5 wui5 giu3 maat1 ye5 ne1?


I see this Mandarin-isms quite a bit on this site.
