Eric: Welcome to 3-Minute Cantonese Season 1, Lesson 1 - Self Introduction. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to introduce yourself in Cantonese.

Eric: Here's the formal way to say 'Hi, I'm Olivia.' in Cantonese.
Olivia: [Normal] 你好,我係Olivia。(nei5 hou2, ngo5 hai6 Olivia. )
Eric: First is a word meaning 'Hi'
Olivia: [Normal] 你好 [Slow] 你好 (nei5 hou2)
Eric: Next is the word meaning 'I'
Olivia: [Normal] 我 [Slow] 我(ngo5)
Eric: Next is the word meaning 'am'
Olivia: [Normal] 係 [Slow] 係(hai6)
