Hi Ivor,

Thank you for visiting CantoneseClass101 and posting your comment. We did indeed publish the first three weeks a bit early so that we could give early subscribers to the site a bunch of content right at the beginning. At the moment, then, the first three weeks have all been published, but starting next week we will resume our regular four-lesson-a-week schedule.

That's really great that you are living in Hong Kong and have a chance to use Cantonese in real situations everyday. We'd definitely value your feedback and any tips you might have on making the most of Cantonese in daily life. Have a great week--

Peyton

Hi Ivor,

Thanks for the comment. Peyton can shed light on the details, but the short version is that while we have about six months of materials waiting to go, we shifted ahead the first three weeks or so of content so that there would be more lessons on the site for people who just dropped by to check out Cantonese and learn about the language.

I believe that there will be a few more lessons out this week (but not daily), and then everything will be back to normal with daily lesson production starting next week. This will let us finish the regular series at the usual time of the year along with the rest of the sites. Again, Peyton can help fill in the details here.

Thanks,

Hi guys,

Why have there been so few lessons this week - I think this is only the second one posted in seven days (and I am not sure that a plug for founding father membership really counts as a proper lesson. Also, I haven't seen a repsonse from the team to any of my previous posts. As I remember, when Chineseclass101 came on line, they uploaded several lessons at once at the start so that they could hit the ground running. As someone who lives in Hong Kong and has been learning Cantonese for about a year, I am quite excited to see a Cantonese learning podcast and have taken out the full membership, but I would like to see some more lessons at a variety of lessons released shortly - as yet it has all either been too basic or too advanced (or for the last week, pretty much nothing at all).

Look forward to hearing from you shortly.
