I know essentially they're the same thing, but I remember reading somewhere that there is a slight difference in the Cantonese spoken in Hong Kong and Guangdong. Apart from lexical difference, is there a difference in pronunciation/other? Is there any chance you could do a lesson on that? Or posting a reply/article here?

EDIT: Just in case, I'm referring to standard Cantonese, because I know that there are local variations in Cantonese.
