Strange Phrase...

Postby Darendor » April 23rd, 2015 11:59 am

Hello, a local business near me recently (-ish) went out of business.

On the door is the following Cantonese (supposedly) message:
二二七析明月攸
玉人何夕上舞釗滯

Could anyone assist me in deciphering what it says?

Thanks.

Hi Darendor,

That's very interesting!
Looks like the store owner made up this poetic message with ancient Chinese, that's why it'd need a linguist specialized in that field to decipher. Also it could mean much more to someone who knew a background story.
From my humble point of view:
攸 = to relax; to retired
玉人 = beautiful person
何处 = where; somewhere
舞剑潇 = to play/practice the sword
